Movie review : They Wait...

Who wants to be a Millionaire final question...
...........................................................

They Wait....for what?

A. For 'replacements' to their lost souls by killing people.
B. To be reborn.
C. For their bones to be found and shifted back to their homeground.
D. For their bodies to be found after being raped and murdered by serial rapists.

...........................................................

Your answer?

If A, B or D is your answer, please go eat one million tonnes of grass and moo like a cow.

Yes, the answer is C. One million virtual kisses for you...

Muackz...if you are addicted to his kiss...check out www.orangutan.org to find out how to help this near extinct lovely species...

okok...why always out of topic one?

haiz...

I watched They Wait with my sister, Irene at 8.15pm. We reached MBO Cinema Seremban at 8.00pm and I was worried that no more seats available since it's near CNY already.

But I managed to book the whole Hall 3. :-)

Only me and my sister...hoho...
psst: she behaved worse than a man...

This movie was directed by Ernie Barbarash and starring the ever hot Jaime King (as Sarah).

Here's eye candies for you....

Want more? here you go...:-)

Hot...

opss...

but I meant to scare you...LOL...
apparently this ghost named Shen Lu(Vicky Huang) was looking for her bones...

To cut it short, when Shen Lu was a human being, she went to the west with other immigrants illegally to work in a clothing factory owned by Uncle Raymond Tsai (Sarah's father in law).

Uncle Raymond veli bad and deserve a pi piak from everyone!!!

He and his wife (Cheng Pei Pei as Aunty Mei) liked to harvest bears' innards and paws to be sold back to China to earn more $. Tamak haloba...

Shen Lu saw their bad doings. And Aunty Mei decided to bury her butcher knife into her head and hence the image shown above...:-)

...or below...

and if you think that the evil Aunty Mei decided to stitch Shen Lu's mouth, you are wrong!!! The stitched mouth came from no where...just a move by director to make the ghost scarier. damn! I was expecting mouth stitching moments...

Shen Lu and other immigrants' bones were not shipped back to China. They were buried behind a concrete wall.
and Shen Lu, I assume, is the leader of the whole bunch of ghosts...

That's about it lah...finally the bones were shifted back to China and the ghosts said 'thank you' to Sarah and her hubby.

Wanna know why Sarah was forced to help?

Hint : This is Sammy (Regan Oey) hugging his Mum, Sarah...

Overall:this is just a horror movie that doesn't leave an impact on me.

Jangan Pandang Belakang is better...

Yeah, support uncrappy local films!!!
